Two small-town pals find themselves lost and fumbling through a bustling Mediterranean port city, whose inhabitants are preparing for an evening celebration: decorating the town square, preparing their costumes, and rehearsing a musical performance. The unsuspecting strangers stumble through mishaps, mayhem, and mistaken identities, only to run into the last people they expect.
