Three Exorcisms @ The Broadwater – Review

It’s 1566 and Nicole is possessed by the devil…and she’s famous for it. It’s tragic. It’s worrisome. It’s getting her a lot of strange attention from one very eager little nun, an old lady who thinks she’s a teenager, and a soft-spoken stable boy. A play about trapping ourselves and trapping each other, and what it takes to get out.

Three Exorcisms is a new dark comedy by an up-and-coming playwright that explores the roles that are forced upon us, the ways we try to break out of the mold, and the yearning we have to understand why we are the way we are. While this play takes place in 16th Century France, it feels as timely as ever. Source
