Written by James Cougar Canfield (TETA Playfest Award Winner, Alley Theatre’s Houston Young Playwright Award Winner) and workshopped and performed by graduates of East 15 Acting School’s MFA Acting International program, “Ladies in Waiting” finds King Henry VIII in a purgatory-like situation, where one by one he must confront and face off with each of his wives. Through dark humour, devastating truths, sexy seductions, and powerful revelations, Henry comes face to face with what his legacy has become: one entirely defined by women. Taken from the website

Interview with the cast of 3D Theatricals  Oklahoma playing a the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center and the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. The 3-D Theatricals’ take on “Oklahoma!” …is SHOCKING. It is either bad taste or pure genius (and whichever it is, is completely up to you). Is it the story of a Jim Crow Negro being killed for harassing a white woman? Do the audience members feel like they’re part of lynch mob after watching a trial? Do black lives matter? You may never see it done like this again – no one would be courageous enough to show it! Personally, I love this disturbing take on “Oklahoma!” – Ashton Marcus

JUNE 16 , 2017 – JUNE 25 , 2017 AT REDONDO BEACH PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
JUNE 30 , 2017 – JULY 9 , 2017 AT CERRITOS CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS

Mistake (I mispronounce the name of the show it’s actually Narsociety)

The internet and social media have forever changed the way we communicate, interact, love, work, and play. Narsociety – The Social Media Shaming Musical tells the story of what happens when it all comes crashing together, when the private becomes public, when technology meets art, when selfies are more important than self-expression, when outrage dominates the conversation, and when agendas ruin lives.
