#DON’T is a modern-day stage adaptation of Dr. Jose P. Rizal’s classic novel Noli Me Tangere.

Noli Me Tangere is an 1887 novel by Filipino writer and activist José Rizal published during the Spanish colonial period of the Philippines.

After publication, Noli me Tangere was considered to be one of the instruments that initiated Filipino nationalism leading to the 1896 Philippine Revolution. The novel did not only awaken sleeping Filipino awareness, but also established the grounds for aspiring to independence.

Considered the national hero of the Philippines, Jose Rizal was a Filipino nationalist, writer and polymath active at the end of the Spanish colonial period of the Philippines.

Synopsis:
After seven years pursuing higher education in the US, a young Cris Ibarra returns home to the Philippines to avenge the death of her father.  Taken from the website.
