Jackie fresh out of spending two years in jail for selling drugs is returning home to his rocky relationship with his girlfriend Veronica. Jackie has joined an AA group and asked his friend Ralph to be his sponsor. Fresh off of getting a job offer Jackie comes home with gifts for Veronica. Amid their conversation, Jackie discovers a hat that doesn’t belong to him and addresses Veronica on the subject. She vehemently denies the claims and tells him he’s crazy for thinking this way.
